Paul Tergat will knuckle down to training next week as he prepares to face one of the strongest fields ever for the Flora London Marathon in April. Tergat has five cross-country world titles as well as a pair of 10,000 metre silver medals from both the world and European championships – but he is not taking his London competition lightly.
"I respect the entire field and I will be taking no one for granted. But it's a race I'm looking forward to and I know it is also one everyone wants to see," Tergat said. "It is a most important time for me and I will be increasing my London preparations next week."
