Waterford Olympian Jamie Costin showed the benefits of a winter spent training in New Zealand when he took 24 seconds off his personal best time to win the 3000m walk at the first round of the NZ League in Hamilton on Saturday. Among those Costin beat was local star Craig Barret who is ranked 12th in the World this year over 50km.
