Richard Mulligan headed home a record field in the 18th annual Sunday Tribune/Knorr Dublin Simon Community Run in Dublin's Phoenix Park. The Clonliffe Harriers runner completed the five mile event in 24 minutes, 39 seconds. Aidan Woods came in second in 25.04 while Pat Byrne was third with a time of 25.16.
In the women's race, Clare Quinn was first home in 29.03. Mary Hanley came in second with a time of 30.16. Over 2,000 runners took part in the event.
