Sonia O'Sullivan has confirmed that she will compete in the Ballycotton 10-mile road race on the 24th of June. The news will come as a major boost to the race organisers who had to postpone the race from its original March date due to the foot and mouth situation.
Meanwhile, Robert Heffernan, Gillian O'Sullivan and Olive Loughnane will spearhead the Irish team for the European Walk Cup which takes place in Slovakia next Saturday.
