The Olympic boxing draw took place today and Ireland's only competitor, Michael Roche of Cork, will face the former European Junior Champion, Turkey's Sirat Karogolo in the first round. That fight will take place in the early hours of Tuesday morning Irish time.
Elsewhere, there are three injury worries in the Irish camp, David Matthews and Breda Dennehy are showing flu symptoms while James Nolan is also said to be sickly.
