Denmark's Frederik Nielsen and Australia's Robert Smeets will meet in the final of the Shelbourne Irish Open at Fitzwilliam on Saturday.
Nielsen came from a set down to overcome Jonathon Marray of Great Britain in the first semi-final.
After losing the first set in a tie break, Nielsen fought hard and battled back in the second set, this time taking the tie break himself. The third set was slightly more straightforward for the Dane as he got an early break and went on to secure the tie 6/7, 7/6, 6/3.
Smeets sawoff Tomas Cakl of the Czech Republic. There was nothing to separate the two players during the first 12 games of the first set, with Smeets having to rely on his nerve to take the closely contested tie break (7-5).
The second set was a one sided affair, Smeets broke early and went on to dominate Cakl, securing a spot in the final with a 7/6, 6/1 score line.
