Ireland's top ladies' badminton players have won their first tournament in their quest to qualify for the Beijing Olympics next year.
Chloe Magee and Karen (Huang) Bing - currently ranked 38th in the world - took on Catherine Moody (NZL) and Ngugen Nhungle Ngoc (Vie) in the final of the North Shore City International in Auckland on Sunday.
The Irish pair won the first set 21-15, but then took their foot off the gas and lost the 2nd set 16-21.
However the tournament number one seeds re-grouped and regained their concentration to close out the final set 21-15 and take the title.
