Sonia O'Sullivan's participation in the Commonwealth Games is in doubt after she sustained a hamstring injury in training, according to reports.

The 36-year-old is due to represent Australia in the 5,000 metres on Friday but her partner and coach Nic Bideau has told BBC Sport that she will decide on Monday whether she can compete.

The Irish-born athlete was cleared to run for Australia after being granted dual citizenship.

She qualified due to a loophole that meant she did not have to wait the normal three years to compete for another country.
