Boxing High Performance Manager Gary Keegan has said that Andy Lee has not yet signed professional forms.
It was reported at the weekend that Lee had signed with Emanuel Steward and was training in the US for a fight in August.
Keegan said he understands the boxer is in negotiations to turn professional, but nothing has been signed yet.
The Limerick southpaw is currently on holidays in France and will return from his break on Thursday.
