Axle Grease produced a stunning performance in the opening round of the Cool Performance Tri-Distance at Harold's Cross last night. The youngster went clear to the first bend and pulled right away to win by nine lengths in a brilliant 28.69.
The 29-second mark was also broken in the final heat when Freffan's Mickey got up in the very last stride for a short head verdict over Brave Rangers in 28.90.
