Winter Olympics: Hearing into alleged vote rigging

The independent Court of Arbitration in Sport has ordered a hearing for today into allegations of vote rigging in the Winter Olympics' figure skating competition at the request of Canada. Russians Elena Berezhnaya and Anton Sikharulidze won the gold with Canadian pair, Jamie Sale and David Pelletier, winning silver - a decision which has baffled most neutral observers.

The French judge, Marie-Reine Le Gougne, has denied allegations of collusion with eastern bloc judges. The CAS has now ordered that she remain in Salt Lake City to appear before the court later today.
