The Rolling Wave

This week's guest is Aoife Kellly. Aoife is the granddaughter of John Kelly, the great fiddle and concertina player from West Clare. Born in 1921 John Kelly came to Dublin in 1945 where he opened a shop on Capel Street. From then one he was a central figure in the Irish music scene in the city and many people passed through the doors of the Capel Street shop for chats and tunes.

Aoife Kelly has curated a fantastic website in his memory called www.johnkellycapelstreet.ie
