Raymond's brother-in-law died last night in hospital.  While his medical notes were at Beaumont Hospital, the hospital on call was the Mater. Eventually, rather than use an ambulance, they drove him to Beaumont.

Mary O'Reilly's father George was having a 90th birthday party in Howth Yacht Club, but when they hammered nails into the walls to put up pictures of George, the Club wanted to cancel.
