polls have been open across the U.K. since 7 this morning... in a surprise general election, called by the prime minister in April. Robert Mulhern has spoken to voters in London and we were joined by Tommie Gorman in Belfast.
The deadline had been set for June 2nd...but it took until the early hours of this morning for agreement to be made on a proposed successor to the Lansdowne Road Agreement. We spoke to Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform, Paschal Donoghue
