Artist, Maeve Taylor, was the model for Yann Renard-Goulet's statue of "Mother Ireland" which was erected outside the Custom House, Dublin in the late 1950's.
She's never seen the statue close-up.
Maeve runs annual exhibitions of Irish artists' work in the Mater Hospital Dublin. This year's show begins on Wednesday 9th. of March, 2011
