Within the space of a couple of months Ireland's weather has gone from one extreme to another and again farmers are concerned with fodder supplies. Suzanne Campbell spoke to farmers at the Teagasc annual beef 2018 showcase. Also Damien is joined on the line by Ireland's largest broccoli grower, Paul Brophy from Co. Kildare.
Irish Trawlers have been working with Bord Uisce to helping clean up our shoreline & Damien recently went out with fisherman Ivan Toole to see how they are playing their part in keeping Ireland's shoreline clean. Multi-award winning underwater cameraman, Doug Allan, has worked alongside Sir David Attenborough on ground-breaking documentaries such as BBC's Blue Planet, Frozen Planet and Ocean Giants. As one of the world's best underwater cameramen Doug has had the chance to get up close to some of the most powerful and awe-inspiring mammals found on land and sea. Doug is in Galway this weekend for Seafest and spoke to Damien earlier.
