The Navvies of North London' is a snapshot into the remnants of an Irish immigrant community in north London. It tells the story of 'the Navvies' of north London; a term first applied to the Irish who moved to England to build the canal systems in the 19th century. As industry progressed, the name stuck to the diaspora as they went on to build integral railway and motorway systems. These people went on to develop a new world in exile; with craic and music in great pubs like The Favourite in Archway.
