Episode Notes
Yesterday we learned that 62% of Irish voters voted yes in the same sex marriage referendum. Senator Katherine Zappone and Ann Louise Gilligan are two women who have been at the forefront of the movement to allow gay people to marry for decades now and they joined Miriam in studio this morning.

Later in the programme Fine Gael General Secretary Tom Curran joined Miriam, Katherine and Ann Louise. Two weeks ago Tom wrote in The Irish Independent about being a man of faith and a proud dad to a gay son. You can read his article in full here.
