This morning’s programme was the second part of Sunday Miscellany Live at Christmas, a collaboration with the RTÉ Concert Orchestra and special guests, which was recorded at the National Concert Hall earlier this month.

God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen, arranged by Paul Campbell, featuring tenor Owen Gilhooly;

Adagio for Clarinet by Heinrich Joseph Baermann, performed on solo clarinet by Michael Seaver, principal clarinet of the RTÉ Concert Orchestra;

Christmas Tree Waltz, by Vladimir Rebikov;

The Blower’s Daughter by Damien Rice, performed on solo trumpet by Niall O’Sullivan;

When You Wish Upon a Star, written by Leigh Harline and Ned Washington, arranged by Cian Boylan, and featuring singer Cathy Davey.
