On Friday 29th November RTE Radio 1's Arena hosted the announcement of the winners in this year's RTÉ Short Story Competition at the Pavillion Theatre Dun Laoghaire, Co Dublin where the 10 shortlisted writers and judges gathered to discuss their stories, hear extracts read by actors Rory Nolan and Caitríona Ní Mhurchú and enjoy music from The Fynches.
The Awards will be broadcast on RTÉ Radio 1's Arena from 7pm on on Monday 2nd December
