In 1976 for its Golden Jubilee RTÉ issued an LP record that captures how it decided to present the story of what people had heard on Irish radio across some 145,000 hours of programming since 1926.
As RTÉ shortly begins its second century, broadcasting the record salutes the pioneers and mavericks of those earlier years: those who made and contributed to the programming as well as those who listened in the first time round to what feature on the LP.
