The Ahare River and Biodiversity Group are hosting the Castletown River and Nature Festival for Heritage Week on the 23rd-24th August 2025. Join them to explore the natural beauty of the Ahare River and local wildlife!
The group will host two amazing free events to celebrate National Heritage Week 2025.
The first will be a drawing class on the 23rd of August called "Drawn to the Wild" with Don Conroy in Castletown National School Gorey Co. Wexford. The second is a family funday on the 24th of August on Clone Strand, Castletown, Gorey, Co. Wexford, to celebrate Water Heritage Day with lots of fun for all the family, young and old. There will be a sand art competition, egg and spoon race, nature treasure hunt and much much more.
