The glass tables
Pamela bought a nest of glass tables ( similar to those in the photograph). She tells Joe she was putting her children to bed when she heard a loud crash and discovered one of the glass tables had exploded. Nobody was in the room with them and Pamela wondered if this has happened to anyone else. For the past month Conor Doyle and his friend Cathal Phelan have been on a fundraising cycle for Cystic Fibrosis. Conor tells Joe that they arrive back in Dublin tomorrow and have raised over €10,000. Cystic Fibrosis patient Jillian McNulty thanks Conor for his efforts.
