It’s the dream of many people to ditch the daily commute and work from home. Recently on The Business with Richard Curran, Evelyn O’Rourke explored the practicalities of such a move.
Evelyn spoke with a number of businesspeople including accountant Niall Mooney, who set up his own company and worked from home in Galway as a result of the recession.
“I think in the beginning it was harder and you’re building your business. That’s the hardest time. I think later you become very good at working between family and home”
However Niall feels that there are definite advantages to working from home.
“I think you can have a more physical presence in your kids' lives.”
