In her column for Drivetime this week, Olivia O'Leary looked back on the leadership of Enda Kenny and what she will – and will not – miss about Fine Gael's longest serving leader.

"What he brought to the job more than any other Taoiseach was optimism. That was vital at a time when Ireland was in its post-bust doldrums, and it was particularly important when he was selling Ireland abroad….What will we not miss? Well the refusal to answer a straight question. Leader's questions in the Dáil became a farce as Enda used his three minutes to take the scenic route around the question asked without ever getting to the point."
