The 6 Nations are back and in true Countrywide style, Damien O'Reilly caught up with the Bull – legendary Irish prop John Hayes.

The County Limerick beef farmer admitted the damp conditions of recent months have delayed calving this year, but the benefit is he'll be able to enjoy the international rugby action for a few more weeks.

John is hopeful that the Irish squad are well prepared.

 'We're actually going to go to France… as favourites. And it's rightly so going on the last year or two the way the results have gone for the two teams'

On the issue of complacency and last year's game against Scotland

'You hear about Joe Schmidt and his preparations that they'll definitely have dealt with that and they won't want it to happen again.'
