"It's the world's biggest movies on the world's biggest LED screens… We're heading toward Shannon so it could be possibly the first drive-in movie at an airport globally!"

So said Barry Clarke of Retro Drive-In Movies to Dave Fanning on The Ryan Tubridy Show. Barry explained that the company has the biggest mobile LED screen in the world and they're hitting the road and taking Shannon Airport by storm with some classic flicks and some quality snacks.

"As you sit in the car park, you're watching a movie on a huge screen… Imagine watching Disney's Up out the front window and looking at aeroplanes landing out the side window… Unfortunately, we're not on the runway, we weren't allowed, but it's a work in progress so we're in the car park just beside the runway, so big screen, movies and planes landing!"

Once your car is parked, you can tune into the sound of the movie on your radio, sit back and relax and because the screen is LED, Barry says the quality is good come rain, hail or shine. In terms of the scale, Barry explains,

"It is the size of 2 double-decker buses parked side by side so a very big screen that comes up on a mechanical arm from a truck so we rock up, we roll in, we put up our screen and we put on some movies on our LED screen."
