Max Maxin is a story about overcoming the odds, achieving the unlikely and finding a place to call home. Based on real events and written by Max's cousin Harold Huberman, the novel is a testament to tenacity.

It details the journey of 12-year-old Max, who fled Poland for England in 1907 to escape religious persecution. Max ultimately walked from Gdansk to Harwich. Joined in studio by his daughter, actor Amy Huberman, Harold told Ray D'Arcy why tenacity seems to be a family trait.

In a wide-ranging interview, Harold talked about coming up through the ranks of England's fashion circles, moving to Ireland for love and coping with a Parkinson’s diagnosis 9 years ago.
