National Tree Week 2026 runs from 8–15 March, organised by the Tree Council of Ireland and Coillte to promote tree planting, biodiversity and environmental awareness. Terry Flanagan reports from the launch at Newbridge Demesne, which marked the Tree Council’s 40th anniversary, with speeches by Éanna Ní Lamhna and Uachtarán na hÉireann Catherine Connolly.
