Senior politicians in Mayo are urging the new Garda Commissioner to urgently examine the murder of a young GAA fan in the county eight years ago next week. 21-year old Joe Deacy, from London but of Mayo descent, was found unconscious with serious head injuries outside a house near Swinford in August 2017.
