Luciano Visconti’s Death In Venice was released in 1971. It starred Dirk Bogarde as the aging composer who becomes besotted by a young boy. At an audition in Sweden, Visconti found the 15 year old Bjorn Andrésen. Co directors Kristina Lindström and Kristian Petri have made a new documentary with the assistance of Bjorn. Available in cinemas now.
