Filmed in Dublin, Miss Scarlet and The Duke is a period detective drama. Creator Rachel New is joined by Cathy Belton and Larry Bass. She describes the central character Eliza Scarlet as "an independent woman living at a time when women had little or no rights". The series which is set in Victorian London airs on Alibi from Tuesday.
