One of the key events of the school calendar is Maths Week. The week normally starts with the annual Hamilton Lecture held in the Royal Irish Academy, which unfortunately had to be cancelled this year but who was Hamilton? Aoibhinn Ní Shúilleabháin, Assistant Professor in the School of Mathematics at UCD answered this question.
