A HSE memo, which said nurses could remove patients from beds "as trespassers" using minimum force, to free up acute beds for patients who need them has been described as immoral. The memo for hospital managers, which was seen by RTÉ News, was written by the HSE's legal advisors and withdrawn 17 days later.
