Night time doctor scheme gets under way in County Carlow Next to the problems of getting a doctor outside normal surgery hours, particularly for those living in rural areas. A pilot scheme is running in County Carlow whereby GPs join together to run a night time co-op service. Similar programmes are running in the North, although as Kevin Rafter reported for RTE news yesterday, some patients would rather cross the border because they are not happy with the scheme.
