Notes
Cathal heads to mid-70’s London, the whiff of punk in the air, for the story of Chiswick Records. Founded by two Irish men, Dubliner Ted Carroll, and Roger Armstrong from Belfast, Chiswick was started in 1975 out of a couple of market stalls selling second hand records and went on launch the recording career of Joe Strummer, Jim Kerr of Simple Minds fame, Kristy McColl, and Shane McGowan to name but a few. It was also the label that released one of the all-time great Irish albums, The Radiators – Ghostown. (Contributors include Ted Carroll, Roger Armstrong, and Pete Holidai)
