From the Chelsea Hotel to the turntable, via London, Dublin and New York. This is the story of how previously publicly unheard audio tapes of Behan found their way into a London record shop in 2021. Recorded in the Chelsea Hotel, NYC in 1960, these tapes became the source for Behan's book 'Confessions of an Irish Rebel', posthumously published in 1965. An excerpt of these were transferred and pressed onto vinyl, provided a fascinating glimpse into Behan's confessionals.
