RTÉ lyric fm continues its steady rise, now reaching 336,000 listeners every week and growing audiences across the schedule. The station's blend of world-class music and engaging presenters is resonating with listeners of all ages.

Movies and Musicals with Aedín Gormley welcomes 17,000 new listeners on Saturday afternoon

  • Marty in the Morning has 73,000 listeners (+5,000 YoY) tuning in every weekday morning.

  • Niall Carroll's Classical Daytime on weekdays has 46,000 listeners. (+4,000 BoB)

  • Aedín Gormley's Movies and Musicals every Saturday afternoon has 71,000 listeners. (+17,000 YoY)

  • Sunday Afternoon with Simon Delaney has 60,000 listeners.

  • Weekend Classics with Claudia Boyle has 61,000 listeners on Saturdays (+18,000 YoY) and on Sundays the programme has 52,000 listeners. (+14,000 YoY)

  • Liz Nolan's The Full Score/ Aedín in the Afternoon (Friday) have 54,000 listeners.

  • Lorcan Murray's Classic Drive takes 70,000 listeners into the evening each weekday (+20,000 YoY).

  • The Mystery Train with John Kelly (Mon-Thurs)/ RTÉ lyric Live with Paul Herriott (Fri) has 36,000 listeners (+9,000 YoY).

  • The Hamilton Scores with George Hamilton have 54,000 listeners (+8,000 YoY) on Saturdays and 48,000 on Sundays.

This sense of connection is reflected in audience growth right throughout the day with the most listened to show Marty Whelan's Marty in the Morning having 73,000 listeners, Lorcan Murray's Classic Drive welcoming 20,000(YoY) new listeners now at 70,000 listeners and Aedín Gormley's Movies and Musicals with 71,000 listeners, an increase of 17,000(YoY).The gains continue on Weekend Classics with Claudia Boyle now at 61,000 listeners, George Hamilton's The Hamilton Scores up 3,000 to 54,000 listeners on Saturday and in the evenings Paul Herriott's Opera Night up 10,000(YoY), The Lyric Feature increased by 16,000(YoY), The Full Score and Aedín in the Afternoon (Friday) sees an increase of 6,000 new listeners(YoY) and John Kelly's Mystery Train and RTÉ lyric Live with Paul Herriott both up 9,000(YoY)."
