We are deeply saddened by the death of Manchán Magan. Manchán was many things to many people; a poet and a scholar, a storyteller and a visionary. His connection to land, language and culture, particularly here in Ireland, was pure and profound. He held the doors open for all with an unwavering enthusiasm and no doubt he had much more to unearth and communicate. Manchán completed a series on RTÉ lyric fm in 2023 on music words in Irish, focail cheoil, titled Éist, le Manchán Magan which you can listen to here.
