Finalists Concert Live Webcast
This Monday, March 24th at 1pm, the six primary school and six post-primary school music groups selected as Finalists in the 2025 Waltons RTÉ lyric fm Music for Schools Competition will perform in a gala Finalists Concert in the National Concert Hall. The groups will perform a wonderful range of pieces they developed in response to this year's Music for Schools theme, The Key of Life. (See the lists of 2025 Finalists here).
The twelve schools will also be competing for a total of €8,200 worth of vouchers for musical instruments and equipment from Waltons Music for their schools, including primary and post-primary First Prizes of €2,000.
For the many people around the country who won't be able to travel to and experience the excitement of a Music for Schools Finalists Concert in person, we're delighted to report that this year's concert will be live webcast by RTÉ lyric fm!
