With the release of this round of JNLR figures (radio listenership figures), RTÉ lyric fm is delighted to see yet another increase in the number of people tuning in to the station. We welcome 22,000 new listeners and say a huge thank you to our dedicated listeners who continue to enjoy the wide range of programmes on RTÉ lyric fm.

It's very positive for the team at RTÉ lyric fm to see sustained growth and stability in daytime programming with an increase of 6,000 on Niall Carroll's Classical Daytime and 8,000 new listeners coming to Lorcan Murray's Classic Drive over the last year. Marty in the Morning continues to attract 56,000 who start their day in the Marty Whelan way. We are delighted to welcome our 22,000 new listeners over the last year across the week.

Weekend mornings have also had big gains for Daybreak, Hamilton Scores and Vox Nostra with over 43,000 new listeners coming to these programmes on RTÉ lyric fm over the last year along with another 11,000 joining Paul Herriott on Opera Night for the weekly night at the opera each Saturday evening. Listeners continue to come to RTÉ lyric fm to escape busy lives, relax and experience the unifying power of music on RTÉ lyric fm 'Where Life Sounds Better'.
