Aedín marks the release of Disney's live-action adaptation of The Little Mermaid on Friday starring Halle Bailey. This classic tale features newly composed songs by Broadway legends Alan Menken, who has teamed up with Hamilton's Lin-Manuel Miranda to add new tunes to the movie fleshing out Ariel’s story as she swaps her fins for feet. Aedín talked to director Rob Marshall about what attracted him to this project, the incredible songs and the importance of the rehersal process for him.
