The National Symphony Orchestra perform Giuseppe Verdi's towering, titanic Requiem, recorded live from the National Concert Hall in May 2023.

Conductor Jaime Martín conducts the National Symphony Orchestra and Chorus, and a quartet of star soloists - Miah Persson (soprano), Jennifer Johnston (mezzo-soprano), Valentyn Dytiuk (tenor), Evgeny Stavinsky (bass) - in music cast on the grandest of scales. Shot through with operatic intensity, it thrills in its contrasts between the hushed prayers of repentant sinners, ecstatic dancing angels, and a terror-inducing depiction of the Day of Judgement.
