Kensho Watanabe conducts the orchestra in a programme including Ravel and Brahms and Alex Murphy of the Young Offenders fame narrates Britten's The Young Person's Guide to the Orchestra and in this RTE Concert Orchestra double bill, Karem Hasan conducts the Orchestra in Rossini William Tell Overture, Elgar's Enigma Variations and Alim Beisembayev joins the orchestra for Rachmaninov's Piano Concerto No.2.
