All this week on Classic Drive, Lorcan will feature music from Pablo Ferrández's latest, 'Moonlight Variations'

Every musician has their "dream piece," the one work they would love to perform and record. For cellist Pablo Ferrández, that is Tchaikovsky's Rococo Variations. Ferrández realized that dream on his new release from Sony, and surrounds it with pieces inspired by the night. "I feel more creative at night," says the cellist. "I’m not alone in that. So many composers have written special music connected to this time. They all felt a difference in the world once the sun had gone down."
