All this week on Classic Drive Lorcan will feature music from Schubert: Chamber Works the new album from the late pianist Lars Vogt.
Vogt, who died of cancer in September 2021 was already ill when he travelled to Bremen to record the album with violinist Christian Tetzlaff and his cellist sister Tanya. The result is a profound, exquisitely nuanced reading of Schubert's two piano trios.
