VESPERTINE WITH ELLEN CRANITCH
The Dark Well is an appropriately titled new album from two amazing musical brains. Enda Scahill, founder of We Banjo 3 and long recognised as Ireland's great banjo innovator teams up with the Swedish mad scientist of harmonica, Joel Andersson to create an album full of 'gleeful menace'. Nothing is safe, nothing is predictable. As Enda says, 'we were trying to do something different - and then it got out of hand'. I'm taking a deep dive into The Dark Well this Saturday and featuring it as my album of the week. Might need a snorkel.
