We salute Judi Dench ahead of her 90th birthday with music from Iris, Philomena and her rendition of Sondheim's Send in the Clowns. Audrey Hepburn and Julie Andrews take on the role of a nun in The Nun's Story and The Sound of Music. A Bond tune from Casino Royale, out west with the classic western Shane and Disney favourites from Cinderella and Mary Poppins Returns. The Metropolitan Opera New York presents Die Frau ohne Schatten
Met Music Director Yannick Nézet-Séguin takes the podium to lead Strauss's grand mythological epic, a tour de force for orchestra and soloists alike. A spectacular trio of sopranos lead the ensemble cast, with Elza van den Heever as the otherworldly Empress, Lise Lindstrom as the Dyer's Wife, and Nina Stemme as the Nurse. Acclaimed baritone Michael Volle is Barak, with tenor Russell Thomas as the Emperor and bass-baritone Ryan Speedo Green as the Spirit Messenger.

VOX NOSTRA WITH VLAD SMISHKEWYCH
Premiered in December of 1793, Mozart's Requiem stands as one of the monuments of Classical-era sacred music. A new recording by the Flemish Radio Choir and the orchestra Il Gardellino bring this work to life on period instruments for your Sunday morning delight. Alongside this beautiful centrepiece of today's programme, we'll get to hear works on historical guitar by Xavier Diaz-LaTorre, who visits Dublin this coming week with Jordi Savall. A concert from the National String Quartet Foundation on today's Full Score as the Solas Quartet presents two Romantic masterpieces, Fanny Mendelssohn's elegantly lyrical quartet from 1834, and Borodin's D major quartet. Their programme opens with Matthew Locke's curtain raiser to a 1674 London production of The Tempest and features the first performances of a new quartet by Katherine Hunka, a theatrical look at power dynamics within a group. New arrangements by Marja Gaynor of two trad tunes complete a lovely programme.
