Notes
This is the Choir of Cabra West Church, on Fassaugh Avenue, Cabra West, Dublin 7. It was originally set up in 1972 ( in its current format) by Colette Aungier and ran by her until the end of 2014. Conor Creagh is organist and director since then. There are currently seven singers, five sopranos and two altos- Anne, Ann, Vera, Claire. Christine, Lisa and Patience We also have a cantor Ms Sarah Kilcoyne, who adds the professional star power on Sundays! We practice on Wednesday evening and sing every Sunday morning at 11:30am. Wednesday evenings are lovely as we share a cup of tea, some laughs and learn new music and revise old pieces. Highlighting the beauty of a group of people who sing together and become part of a special musical family. We are also lucky to have the services of Prof Gerard Gillen, Derek Verso and Ami Hewitt on Sundays sometimes. In addition, we have wonderful instrumentalists at the big events of the liturgical year. Choir Director: Conor Creagh
