Notes
The choir at Saint Brigid’s National School has a proud tradition of choral singing dating back to 1995. Comprising pupils from 5th and 6th classes, the choir has achieved notable success over the years at many festivals and competitions. They also embrace opportunities to share their music with wider audiences at events further afield.
In June, the choir performed at Feis Ceoil’s Gala Concert in the National Concert Hall, a memorable performance opportunity for the children. Recently, the choir was honoured to perform in a Christmas charity concert with New Dublin Voices in the Law Society. They are now looking forward to sharing their music once again at the lighting of the Christmas tree in Castleknock in early December.
Throughout the year, the choir plays a central role in school life, providing music for important occasions such as Confirmation ceremonies, carol services, and school masses.
